The Roach
Sorry, I've been pretty absent of late. Between Paco's death and our new store I've been so preoccupied and busy, which ultimately is a good thing but is not good for sharing cute pictures.
So Xochitl (So-Chee) has a new English nickname. You can now call her "The Roach"... it's a variation of "Soche the Roach" which is what Aaron dubbed her the first night we had her. Now it's simply become her primary name, so don't worry about pronouncing weird words anymore (except for maybe "Xoloitzcuintle"). Anyhow, she's been really instrumental in keeping me happy right now. I'll start crying and then she'll do something cute that snaps the spell and you can't help but laugh. And here are the pics: working for her breakfast  perched on a sleeping boy  still perching  head wrinkles

profile shot  When she falls asleep she does this thing where she tucks her face flush to the floor or whatever she's sleeping on. It's hard to see, but she's doing it here. Cracks me up every time.

What breed is she? Mexican hairless? She's super, super cute. Her poses remind me of the min pins, who always face tuck when they sleep if they can

Aww, she's getting cuter by the minute!
I really do think puppies help the grieving process. I know one of the only things that's keeping my spirits up after Ilsa's death last week is that a new puppy is coming home this summer.
