Oh man. If I were at ALL in the position for another dog right now, I'd be driving to pick him up from you. Now.

You're not helping my "secret" dachshund obsession. He's a dapple and everything. If he were longhaired I would not still be sitting here. I would be in my car. I kid you not.

Why do ya think my Callie and Gracie, who were originally "fosters" stayed "fosters" for about 5 seconds? I don't think I even started my car before I decided they were staying, LOL!

LOL, my mom said the same thing ("when you gonna start namin' the little cutie pie? You know you want to!"). She keeps spouting off names, and I keep telling her nooooo!

I mean, seriously, do I *LOOK* like I need another fur-ball?? *Points to siggy*

LOL, don't tempt me.

Though I am nudging my mom to take him. She only has two other rescues besides her dachshund -- a boston terrier and a pom mix from the pound. Her 17/yo (nearly 18) dachshund is extremely ill, and she's been talking about having her PTS soon, and how she'd love to have another dachshund, because she's always had at least 1. And I caught her snuggling with the little cutie pie this morning...

On top of that, I am (*STILL!!*) house-hunting (and getting angry at bank lenders) so if and when I move in the hopefully near future, I'll be able to see him all the time, since I don't plan on moving too far away right now. Probably within this same too-small town.
