Default Penny pulling the cart clip

Here is the clip. This is one of the first times she has pulled off of a paved surface. Excuse the video quality, how hard is it to just point a camera and hold it still?? LOL

As time goes along I can already see I will use the lines much much less than I do now. She is learning already HAW and GEE, and EASY (to slow down). She has WHOA for stop, WALK for move out from a stop and continue at walk, and HIKE for trot. Honestly I have been rather astounded by first how readily she took to the entire rig and set up, including the Halti, and by how FAST she is learning the verbal commands.

Today we went to a local park that has wide sidewalks/walkways. She is doing great on turns, and today we did serpentines around some big pillars as well. This is SO darn much fun, and we had several groups of kids come up and marvel at the cart and pet her today.

I am looking forward to the time when she is well trained enough that I can give some rides to others.

She's looking GREAT Red.

I showed the video to Rob, he was quite tickled to see someone being pulled in a cart by their DOG and not a pony

Red I have a question about the carts... do they have any "breaks" on them? Like what if something happened to make a dog take off? How would you stop them?
