My dog Poley is a Golden Cocker Spaniel and he iz 5 yrs old. He howels alot when we rnt home and the neighbours have complined a few times. Sometimes i have to sneak out of the house so that he doesnt see me and so he doesnt howel the whole time. Do u think if we got another dog he would behave and wouldnt make so much noise? What do u guyz think? Plz help

Actually, that's a good idea. Cockers - like most dogs - like company. In the meantime, you could try leaving a radio on while you're gone, or some kind of soothing CD.
Another idea to try is to get a toy, like a puzzle ball or a Kong, that Poley only gets to play with when you're gone, so that it's a special treat and keeps him occupied. Let us know how he does. |

Poochie, you have no idea how relieved I am to hear that you found a good home for your friend! And thank you so much for letting us know.
