Default Does your Dog have a Job???

I am so proud of my dogs, for having a talent or skill that they can do.

I would like to share these pics of my Charlie, granted they are not that clear but you can get the idea. The pics are from last winter.

I also would like everyone to share a talent or skill that their dog is happy to do. It could be anything; like a trick, or something they have learned on their own. Maybe cleaning the cats ears, or whatever......

Charlie, Shiloh (not in pics) love to retrieve birds. In the pictures you can tell how big the geese actually are. And what a blessing it is to have your dog help you put dinner on the table

Charlie swimming really far to get a downed goose.

Charlie starting back.

Almost there.

Jake's missions in life - to date:
1) find a way to access my scotch
2) guardian of the children - ours and daycare kids
3) roller in all things foul! (as opposed to 'fowl' above)
4) companion couch potato
5) Just an all around awsome buddy to spend time with!!!

and while he doesn't help put food on the table, he hasn't taken it from the table either

That is exactly what I meant, dogs are so much more than just companions... they are helpers and earn their keep way more than what we even consider.

Well, there's herding the cows, guarding the farm, frightening coyotes off, frightening pretty much everyone off, lol! Eradicating vermin (fast food in dog-talk), patrolling the boundaries.
