I had one magazine that should this in detail but i couldn't find it so i tried to find it on line. THere was another long one on first aid but it was a pdf file and you had to go through the whole thing. It was very informative tho and if i can find it back i will add it to this link for it covered all first aid measures.

Just two things to add and it didn't look like they addressed this. You want to wrap from the middle up, then down. It says to wrap from the bottom up which is technically correct but it works a whole lot better to start in the middle and get immediate pressure on the wound. Also helps keep the gauze/padding/Telfa/whatever that's directly on the wound to stay without needing a third arm.
Second thing is to wrap from the inside towards the outside. The Red Cross says to do it from the outside to the inside but if you do it that way you can skew tendons to the inside. This may not be a big deal in humans (I don't know) but it can be in horses, dogs, etc.
