Default New Website Launched for Dog Breeders & Dog Lovers!

Hi,
a new website was just launched for dog breeders and dog lovers. K9Ring.com is an online community of purebred dog breeders where breeders can create their own profile pages that feature and promote their kennel and their dogs. These profile pages can be used to showcase your dogs, as well as, an access point for people looking for reputable breeders and the services that they offer. Visit us at www.K9Ring.com and let us help you find good homes for your puppies or adult dogs. Registration is free!

The main objective of this website is to help dog breeders find good homes for their puppies or adult dogs, connect with other breeders, and help those looking for a puppy to quickly find a responsible breeder.
Do you do anything to screen the breeders that are on your site?

Every breeder who registers and provides a website is checked to make sure they are not running a puppy mill. We basically visit each breeder's website and make sure that they are breeding with the betterment of the breed in mind. There is a rating system where breeders and their dogs can be rated. Also, anyone can write breeder reviews. That way we make sure only reputable breeders stick to the top. If anyone reports a breeder as not being professional or is providing false information, we remove that breeder from our directory.

How on earth can that be determined from viewing a website?

As I said, there is also a rating system in place as well as people can write reviews about breeders. We check their websites just to make sure they are not running a puppy mill. It is very easy to tell which breeder is reputable just by checking their years in business and how often they breed and show their dogs. We do our best to make sure only purebred dog breeders register and aid the users in finding a reputable breeder. It is up to the person looking for a puppy or breeder to contact the breeder and make sure that the breeder is responsible and will be there every step of the way during the puppy's development stages and growth.

Majority of our breeders are AKC or CKC registered. We accept any breeds that are recognized by AKC, CKC, UKC, or FCI.

So me with my JRTCC/JRTCA registered dogs (with all health checks, guarantees and me having signed the breed club's code of ethics and titles in all sorts of events..) means nothing?

Sucks for working dogs.

IMO you would be better of worried about the quality of breeder than the registering body.

Errr, it's going to be a rare incidence that a REPUTABLE breeder of a breed recognized by the common registries is going to need help finding a good home for their dogs. A reputable breeder should have a waiting list.

That may be true to some extent, but you are forgetting that some of them do not have their own website and they want to get a greater exposure on the Internet. On the Internet, they can meet many more people and other breeders and share information and tips with each other. They do not have to just advertise their puppies, they can advertise the services that they offer. Also, there are many dog show judges who visit websites that feature different breeders and they may want to promote their kennel and catch the eye of the judges.
