Default Puebred APBT or no?

This is "Poochie" a FOHA dog.

He has a lovely head, as far as I can tell, and other than a weird tail, really long feet, and being downhill he looks okay conformation-wise to me. What do you experts think?

I say not purebred. His hair looks too thick/long especially on his tail and neck. His body build does not look APBT to me either.

Out of curiosity, what does he look like? And his hair is very short.. I'm not sure what's giving in the impression of length, but it's short and fairly even all around. All hairs are definitely under an inch long. (Also - he's longer than the pics indicate - he's at an angle and partially turned in both, so it makes him look 4-6 inches shorter than he actually is.)

I should add - for those of you who don't think he looks APBT at all, what do you think he is? I'm curious as I've never seen a dog that looks much like him, and he has such a pretty little pittie head.

It's really hard to say. Some breeders breed pits to be so huge, and they're not 'supposed to' be so big. The size always throws me off...

I think APBT and American Bulldog x. I think there are 2 different "types" of AmBull... and the pic looks like a dog we fostered named Emma - she was an AmBull very sweet

I am no pit bull pro, but he looks pure bred APBT to me. You wouldn't believe how many people tell me that Reggin is an american bulldog or boxer mix, and he is not. I think the abundance of white throws some off.

He looks like a typical urban back yard pit bull. Is that pure? Basically IMHO. I would say that is as purebred a APBT as you will find without a pedigree.

Cute dog and I will bet he is PURE of HEART! That is the important thing

Looks more like a Dogo to me... I know that according to AKC standards, AmStaffs are not supposed to have more than 80% white...but with UKC for APBT, the only color that is considered a fault is merle. Anyway, a Dogo is always a possibility...
