Do you use the attachments or is it a self-standing? I've considered the attachments but I've read about people burning up the mixer because of it overheating.

I use the Tasin meat grinder after hearing great reviews... So far, I've had all kinds of poultry bones through it, as well as rabbit, ish and smallish lamb/pork bones. It's amazing - I needed to use the reverse button once with the lamb bone - other than that, its never jammed. I found it loud the first time I used it but it is grinding up bones after all, so I am not sure what I expected! It's easy to assemble and takes me about 15 seconds to put it together and take it apart (which is a miracle given how dense I am when it comes to any kind of mechanical thinking).... I was also surprised at how easy it was to clean - my salad spinner takes more effort to put together and take apart to clean than the meat grinder!
