Ruby, my Labradoodle puppy, will chow anything that comes her way if she can possibly manage it, and recently I bought her a puppy teething Kong and filled it with a bit of peanut butter. Well, she hates it! Not even remotely interested at all!
So I did the next thing recommended by the trainer and that was cleaned out all the peanut butter and soaked the Kong in beef stock for a couple of hours. Still no interest.
So I threw it around the back yard a few times for her and played with her with it - and that kind of sparked her interest a bit, I think she liked the way it bounced unpredictably - but that dog likes plain toilet rolls so I couldn't believe she is not even interested in a $25 toy!! In fact she LOVES everything EXCEPT the Kong!! Is there anything I can do or any type of other treat anyone recommends to make it more appealing to her???
