Thumbs up Introducing a dog dedicated campground

Fellow List Members:

I know this topic might not be of interest to all of you, but considering that about 50% of all pet owners go camping (most of them with dogs) I have decided to share the following information with you because this is soooo exciting.
I just checked some of my daily emails and discovered a dog website that posted a message about a couple who are currently building the first and only dog campground in the US.
After visiting their website and registering for the free weekend give-away, I thought I should share this info with the world.
The campground is named “Four Paws Kingdom” and it’s scheduled to open in May of 2004 and like I said you can register for a free weekend vacation or fill out a response form for ideas and suggestions.
That's all I wanted to tell you about.

Oh I almost forgot the website is: http://www.4pawskingdom.com or http://www.gocampingwithyourdog.com

I don't think its the first and only in the US though, because I've seen a couple on TV and my best friend took her wienner dog to one

We've always taken our dogs - and cats - camping with us. They love it, and it's more fun for us because we enjoy watching how much fun they're having.

I'll definitely check out the website. Thanks for the info!

It was bound to happen sooner or later!
Thanks for sharing the information.

More and more businesses are beginning to understand how important our four legged friends are especially when we are away. Accomodations like this for dogs and pets are great! Many luxury dog care facilities are poping up everywhere. One is even targeting the airport here in Jacksonville.
Want to see some pampered pets check out Pet Paradise Resort.
The dogs even have their own swimming pool

This is the only chain I know to this extent. But I am sure their will be many more.
