Maybe a cold in his eye. If worried, call your vet and just ask.

There are several reasons that your dog has milky green eyes. It could be that your dog might have a build up of old cells; or that it might be producing excess tears. You might want to watch your dog if its eyes heal. You should consult your vet to see what exactly might be causing the problem.

VET! There are no home remedies for an eye infection. If you had an eye infection, would you start putting random household products on your eye, under the advice of random people on some forums?! Take the dog to the vet, if he can't open his eye, then it is very uncomfortable for him.... wouldn't you want to see a doctor, if it was your eye?

What are you feeding?
When I got Dante he had that - off to the vet we went - Conjunctivitis (sp) - Meds - off meds it came back. I changed Dante off the Nutro I was feeding and it's never come back
