Do you believe a dog's diet can help with Epileptic Seizures? I have read that kibble that is grain free can help. Buddy is on Phenobarbitol, but would like to some day cut back on his meds. I switched him to Natural Balance Duck and Potato (grain free) about a month ago. He also likes Venison and Sweet Potato. This food has a decent protein percentage for being grain free. Any thoughts or has anyone had luck with a particular food?

Absolutely it can help.
Friend of mine with a deaf dane who also had seziures (Rescue dog). Raw diet went from several a week to 2 in the last YEAR!!!! I'm not really fond of the Natural Balance Potato and Duck since it's Potato first and then duck, though if I remember right it is duck and duck meal so who knows how much duck there really is.....I'm assuming there is still more potato than duck or it would be listed the other way around. I just looked up the venison, it too is actually Sweet Potato & Venison so starch first then meat. http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com/dog...s/allergy.html Have you tried something like Wellness Core or Before Grain? http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/dog_w...ain_index.html http://www.merrickpetcare.com/store/...dog_food_1.php
