I always thought of her as black.
For the 100, 456, 798, 023th time, I loves her ears!

I tell people her coloring is "seal" and they look at me like I just fell from another planet.
But she is truly seal. I've seen real, true black dogs, and real true black dogs are BLACK, no matter WHAT lighting they're in.
She looks brown red or chocolate depending on the lighting. it shows mostly on her face and shoulders.
Yep! Paco is seal, too!

Although, on his ILP paperwork I submitted his color as "Espresso" just to sound fancy

hahaha, thanks, guys!

Here's some more, not to bombard you with Ella shots, I'm just having fun with the camera and seeing how far I can push my ISO and have my shots still look decent. It was very chilly this morning, and when I walked in the room she was curled in what appeared to be the most uncomfortable pit ball EVER. So, I put a tshirt on her. My friend Lauren got it for her for Christmas last year.
Also, I wanted pics of her with her new leash on to show that we now offer tubing on the regular clamps as well.

Gorgeous Ella and beautiful collar! Collarmania?
How old is Ella? Just curious, because I have no idea.

thank you! Yes, the collar is from Collarmania.

Ella is 5 years old, but started graying on her muzzle probably before she was 3.

I love Collarmania collars. Ella looks fabulous in hers. Millie's getting quite a bit of gray on her muzzle, too (she's 6). It bums me out so much because I don't want her to get old, and graying is aign of maturing in her years. I want her to be with me forever.
