Actually if my plans work out tomorrow we are going on a nice walk where I may even see sea lions and whales if we are really really lucky. But there will definitely be dogs. Or at least nanook. mav doesn't fit in the car well

Oh yes. His pigmentation has gotten darker over time. As a puppy he was pure white. He even had less black around his eyes and mouth/nose. Maybe I'll post a puppy pic for comparison. His color is acceptable in the breed standard, although I have no papers on him, so who knows if he doesnt have other breeds in him somewhere down the line.

I never have good luck in shutter mode either, lol. I've really only tried it outside, and it always ends up picking a HUGE aperture so wayyyy too much light gets in. I pretty much shoot primarily in aperture mode... dunno if that's a good thing but it usually gets the job done.

yeah it didn't work out obviously... lol. Steve had to go to the mainland and it's a really remote trail so I don't want to do it by myself. Next week maybe. Or the weekend
