OMG A Breeding in a middle of a show

I agree with Icyhound. Tacky yes. But lets say you want to do a live breeding to a stud 4000miles away. But hes on the show curciut. Well I know if I had the chance if I was closer I would do it at a show. After both dogs are done in the ring and in a discreet place.

I agree with the flexibility for a traveling stud scenario, but what I still find sketchy about this particular situation is the bitch's owners being known millers (or damned close to it, from the sounds of it). No stud owner I know worth their salt will approve a breeding like that, as their dog's name will be 50% tied to the crappy litter that will likely result. Especially since hired handlers were the only ones present in the empty corridor. The owners theoretically may not have been at the show, but . . .

Dunno. This one in particular still seems shady to me.

Also seen different. Lot of nice titled boys getting bred to girls without titles, without health testing. Lot of people don't care.. and use it as a money maker.

Lot of breeders do care.. but a whole lot also don't.

Agreed, happens at shows and is generally pre planned, although most people keep it a little more discreet. Hotel rooms for one lol.

Actually in all seriousness, with the outrageous cost of flying a dog these days and the fact that it's now cargo. It wouldn't surprise me if we see more of these kinds of breedings taking place.
