Hey. We're getting our GS pup next week. Wooh hoo!! Anyway, she's been on fed Vets All Natural Complete Mix Puppies 0 – 2 years and raw bones since now. Is that a good food or bad? What do you guys think? Should we slowly get her into another type of food a little later? Or...? Thanks

I can't find the ingredients online, so hard to say
I do worry about brands saying their food is healthy etc when they don't put the ingredients list online though.Think you could post it? Oh watch out though... The sites I saw say that you need to combine it with raw meat for a fully balanced diet... So it's definitely not good enough by itself. If you want something easier and still say in the raw idea, you can try Innova EVO, although I don't think it's good for large breeds. Or Innova, wellness, canidae, eagle pack. Bleh, I'm sure Mordy will be more helpful. |

Posting the ingredients would help, Skyhigh . . . and congratulations on your new German Shepherd pup
![]() EVO isn't something to feed a larger breed puppy. Innova now makes a large breed puppy food, or their all stages formula is very good as well.

It seems pretty good. Apperrantely, it's not a dog food, it's the vegetable and nutrients part of the BARF diet. All you do is add meat. Although it does not list the ingredients, these links should help.

Yeah I saw those links, I just don't trust what people say one bit, lol.
But I would worry a lot if the breeders only gave that to their dog, without meat. As a supplement, it's probably decent, but not if you don't feed anything else. |

Yeh, the breeder is adding raw meat to it. They said its $50 for 5kgs. That's quite a bit isn't it? I might gradually switch her to one of the foods you guys suggested. Thanks a LOT Fran, Beagle lovergirl and Renee. I don't know what the ingredients are. I'll do a search. But I'll probably be changing the food becaus I haven't seen the food around in pet shops and all. They gave me a mobile number of the supplier. Thanks again guys and for the links.
