Does anyone know a breeder in central Ohio with calm, non-reactive goldens?
Also, I trained many nice goldens in LA. The ones I liked were always show line dogs, light gold in color, substantial bone, easy going temperaments and most had terrible allergies. They tended to have similar pedigrees. Does this seem to be common all over, or are there lines with fewer allergy issues? |

Not in OH but in WI, but some clients of mine bought a dog from Summit Goldens in WI last summer and he's exactly as you've described and a lovely example of the breed. She's hard to get hold of (she's out showing all the itme) but I'd recommend contacting her.
Have you tried going through the local breed club? |

Thanks to Pat I have the email of Seger's breeder. I will also put my cousin (the one who is looking for a dog) into contact with the breed club in Ohio. I'll also let them know about the WI breeder. Thanks for the help.
