Here's my two dogs. Its hard to see Bender's eyes but he has green eyes.

What makes you say that Bender isn't "pure breed"? You mean he doesn't have papers or that he's mixed with something?

They're both very cute.

Bender's dad had a quarter lab mix in him. But he was 3/4 German Shorthair. His mom was a pure breed and she was a good bird hunting dog too. Boy is he smart and learns so very quickly.

Sophie is very pretty. She looks noble in her pictures. Bender is quite the cutie. Are you going to train him for hunting?

No because we don't hunt but they would both be the perfect hunting dogs.

Bender already has that stand pose when he smells something. He is very aware of his surroundings for how young he is and he watches birds fly in the air and he has an ear for them too. He learns so very quickly. I can teach him a new command in one to two days and he doesn't seem to forget it either.

Sophie would also be a great hunting dog since she is so very calm and has keen sense. She seems to watch small animals like squirrels and rabbits and waits than she wants to go. But she is a typical stubborn Basset. But that seems to disappear quickly if she knows you have a treat LOL! She is such a little lady and the sweetest loving dog I have ever met. She seems motherly in a way. People meet her and think she is old because of her personality. They are surprised to learn she is just shy of being a year old. Definitely a sun bathing porch dog but she has her hyper puppy moments.

They are both very loyal and follow me every where non stop They act like brother and sister to each other though; its funny.

They are both lovely dogs, their coats look lovely and shiny and in great condition.

Bender is still a little too skinny. It is hard to get his weight up fully to where I want it since he is growing so fast and so active. He gains 3 to 4 pounds each week it seems. But he looks a tons better since we brought him home. Part of the reason we brought him home when we went to check him out is because of his condition. I feel he was in the beginning of becoming abused. But now he gets everything he needs and a lot of food! Hes so good.
