Default Ideas on new food for Snoopy?

Ok, I'm looking for a new food for Snoopy. He currently eats canidae all life stages. He seems to be a picky eater, he will love a food for a few months but then gets tired of it. I have tried Fromm Chicken a la veg, and he wouldn't even touch it unless you held it up to his face. So any suggestions?

I also have a question my mom was wanting to know the answer to. She wants to know if your dog gets excited when you are putting your dogs food in its bowl? Does it get under your feet or seem eager to eat it? Because all the dogs we have known are like that but Snoopy seems uninterested in eating. The only time he acted like a normal dog was when I fed him kibbles n' bits and he had it ate up before I could get the bag closed. I'm tempted to just give him kibbles n' bits because he has not eaten a meal since monday evening.

My dogs where never excited about eating kibble. Not even my dobie who is a hoover for treats and such things. It is not uncommon.

Some people have a cycle of food they feed and they change every bag. I'm a firm believer of eating what I feed you or not eating at all. However, since I'm no longer a kibble feeder I no longer have eating problems. On kibble, I had a lot of them.

Try adding some hot water to the food. That made a big difference for most of my dogs.

We have raw and Orijen at times. Smudge hooves any kibble. Cider's always been super picky. Don't eat what I put down I will take it back. Cider's not crazy for Orijen but she will eat it in a timely fashion now, she's learned that you go hungry otherwise and doesn't like that too much.

I have been using that method for a long time but Snoopy never cared. He just didn't eat.

If he is not losing weight and condition, let him not eat.

Took a long time. She used to skip one meal worth a day. I had to quit caring as I would tinker with her food as it alarmed me. 6 or so months worth of choosing to eat or not and now she eats pretty much every time. In part I think I was over feeding her so she wasn't as hungry as she should be.. Smudge though would eat the whole kibble container if he could get into it.

I tried but my mom and grandma would go on and leave food out after I left for school or work because people they know that have dogs just leave the food out all the time. When they tell other people how I feed Snoopy they tell me that I and the people on the internet are cruel and mean to their animals for not feeding them because they don't eat within the time limit.
