VIstor messages
I am confused. When i try to see if i can pm i end up here. ANd i notice it is happening to others, an pm messages are being left on visitor messages where at least i can see them all. That doesn't seem right. So i am going to assume that a visitor message is for all to see and people need be be sure that private messages are left in private. Wherever that is. I fined them ok if i am replying to one sent to me. But when i click on someone's name and try to access the pm i get visitor. Maybe i am doing something wrong, but i think i am not alone in this. I saw at least one other "what is this" question under their visitor message. So i have the same question and thought i would bring it here.

You're right about the visitor messages.
If you click on someone's name you should still get a drop down box with one of the options being to send a PM though. Or you can go to your user CP page and choose to send a new PM from the menu on the left side of the page.

Nothing wrong with mine, either.
When you click on someone's name you go to their profile. On their profile is visitor messages. If you want to PM them you have to click on contact and then click on send private message. Or, in your own PM box, go to send new message and put their name in manually. Just like before.
