I am just curious if there actually is an "average" growth rate or even a "general rule".
Our Humane Society, where we adopted Morgan, told us to expect him to double in size from 6 months to one year in age. How accurate do you think this really is? He is just over 6 months now, and weighs about 35lbs. If you have any other information or thoughts about growing puppies, I'd be glad to hear it! I am very interested in this subject right now.

I've heard that you double the weight at 4 months, and so far I've found it to be pretty accurate.

Chloe weighed around 40 +/- pounds at six months and has only gained around 10 +/- pounds since then, she is 54 lbs now at 2 1/2
