Canidae changing formula - any thoughts?

If they are really doing this because of the cost of rice, I wonder if other companies will follow suit.

The dogs eat a sweet potato based food but my cats eat a brown rice based food.

I guess I will have to keep a close eye on their bags.

I was afraid they would do this. As soon as I heard they had started an ad campaign to go more mainstream, the first idea that popped in my head was "uh oh, that usually means the quality will drop"

We don't do lamb and rice because we have issues with lamb, but I am sure this is just the first changes and the others will follow soon enough. I mix ALS with EVO in equal measure, and homecooked gets mixed with that in equal measure...........but if they mess with the ALS I will be looking for a replacement ASAP.

So do you guys really think they improved the food or is this just a line of bull from them? They have already raised the price and now this it really has me wondering what is going on with them. I have already taken my dogs off of Canidae and put them on Innova and the Innova is just a few bucks more then I was paying for the Canidae.
