If they are really doing this because of the cost of rice, I wonder if other companies will follow suit.
The dogs eat a sweet potato based food but my cats eat a brown rice based food. I guess I will have to keep a close eye on their bags. |

I was afraid they would do this. As soon as I heard they had started an ad campaign to go more mainstream, the first idea that popped in my head was "uh oh, that usually means the quality will drop"
![]() We don't do lamb and rice because we have issues with lamb, but I am sure this is just the first changes and the others will follow soon enough. I mix ALS with EVO in equal measure, and homecooked gets mixed with that in equal measure...........but if they mess with the ALS I will be looking for a replacement ASAP.

So do you guys really think they improved the food or is this just a line of bull from them? They have already raised the price and now this it really has me wondering what is going on with them. I have already taken my dogs off of Canidae and put them on Innova and the Innova is just a few bucks more then I was paying for the Canidae.
