Default Pit Bull Found in Car Engine

Look out! They're out to ruin your cars now.

http://www.kcra.com/slideshow/news/16180430/detail.html

Quote:
VACAVILLE, Calif. -- A Vacaville man found a pit bull stuck in the engine of his truck and chewing through wires Tuesday morning, his family said.

Walter Witthoeft had just woken up and went outside to put power steering fluid in his truck. When he popped the hood, he saw a pair of eyes, heard growling and then noticed a dog wiggling around in his engine.

The dog worked his way up and under the truck the night before and got stuck.

Witthoeft's family called police and reported the incident.

Witthoeft said he had just paid $1,000 to fix his truck last week, but the truck now has to be towed back to the shop for repairs due to damage caused by the pit bull.

The dog eventually was able to wiggle out and animal service brought it to a county shelter.

I know I always go put power steering fluid in my vehicle as soon as I wake up in the morning.

(Sorry, I had nothing better to say. WTH?)

At least he didn't cut his brake lines.

How the frak did a dog manage to FIT inside an engine? And how did it get in there? And how did it get air to breathe?

I'm really confused...

I highly doubt a dog of any size could work it's way into an engine..

LOL!

Maybe he is using the same teleportation system as Tallulah and Kharma, only it malfunctioned and deposited him in someone's engine and he was forced to try and chew his way out.

Well those old Ford F-150's do have a TON of room beside the engine, also it has the I6 4.9L Engine, those seem to be pretty common to have power steering leaking. We have fixed several in the auto shop and it is cheaper to just add power steering fluid than fix it.

Still the poor guy, Atleast the pit did it overnight so the engine was cold, or maybe it was still warm and he was looking for some heat.

Snakes, i've heard of. Squarrels. Cats.

This has got to be a first for a dog.
