Has anyone heard of TEKS KENNELS in Cloverdale, IN?

I put a deposit down on a puppy with Tammy Gilchrist, owner of Teks Kennels and she has not produced the puppy and won't return my deposit. I found a couple other people who were scammed by her as well and was checking to get feedback from someone who might have had a similar experience with this breeder.

You serious.... Does she have a website? Report her. Do you have a copy of the deposit papers? Or a signature of her? Is she a registered breeder? If so, you can report her to who ever she's registered to.

I've never heard of her. Yeah I would report her to the police station, bring whatever proof you can find.

I can't find a website for her kennel either, I just tried doing a search and nothing comes up in I type in her name either. What kind of puppy was she promising?

Theres too many random pups for sale on there. So it looks like a bit of a scam. She's in Indiana. Here are a few of the breeds this person is advertising.
german min pins, COCKER / CAVALIERS, BELGIAN GRIFFON, COCKERS toys, YORKIE PUPS, FOX TERRIERS, BEAGLES POCKETS, SIBERIAN HUSKYS, POM PUPPIES, PUG PUPS, TOY SCHNAUZER PUPS, BOXERS and AMERICAN BULL DOGS.

I had a look at the website. It sounds though a little kid has made it. They use abreviations and don't spell correctly. Is this the place you put a deposit down for? If they are or aren't the people you put a deposit from... These people still need to be investiated. They have 14 different breeds of puppies for sale at the same time. Hmmmm... bit suspicious. They have a non-refundable deposit which you have to pay before you even see the dog. hmmmm... I might start a new thread about this one. If its not the same as you so called ""breeder"

I don't like that sight. I mean how could they possibly be a good breeder if they have all the different breeds they say. I wonder if they even have dogs though, they may not even have a dog. You're right about it looking like a little kid made the sight.

yes- that is the website she had up (she has since taken it down). I heard from someone today who is having a problem with her also and he said her last name really isn't Gilchrist. I am waiting to hear back from him with additional info. on her. I live in Georgia so it is hard for me to file a report with the police but I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the local attorney general there as with the government for "internet fraud". They have a seperate division that handles just that.
Will keep you posted. At this point it's not about the money for me, I just don't want her scamming anyone else!

i purchased a dog from tammi at teks kennels. not very good person to do business with. pedigree papers were all wrong,(she sent 3 or 4 different ones) finally the ones i have now are still wrong but tired of dealing with her. i bought an american bulldog from her because it was the cheapest i found in the area, which was first mistake. if anyone needs info on her, i could possibly help....

I am going through the same problem! This has been going on for a ridiculous 2 years!! She promised an english bulldog pup after I payed a total of $600 through western union. At one point they "claimed" that a terrible hurricane wiped out their puppy farm and dogs were lost and everything was disorganized. Yet when I talked to her, she'd say that she would be in touch and I would calmly remind her I hadnt even given her my phone # or address!!!! If anyone has information that could help I would greatly appreciate it!

I still didn't get a reply back from when I emailed her awhile back. I was hoping since I live in Indiana that I could possibly find a way to drive down to them and check out where the animals were housed. No luck though she didn't answer back.
