omg i met a gorgoues dobe today

my coworker broke her foot so i covered her shift at the base camp today and met Onyx, the most stunning black and tan dobe ive ever met! yugoslavian lines and generally big..he didnt seem overdone, but he was about 6 inches taller than any dobe ive ever seen since getting to the usa and just overall big, but he didnt seem HEAVY, very well proportioned and wow. the only negative was hed been cropped (i love natty ears lol)

but yeah by the end of the day i was inlove, according to everyone else hes usually aloof and will come over for a quick pet then leave, but he seemed to REALY lvoe me, he followed me around and would puch his way between my legs then sit there with the back of his head on my stomach and if another dog got too rowdy and too close hed pull forward and stand infront of me protectivly. when it was quiet and i sat down he sat next to me with that gorgeous regal aire about him his body pressed against my leg just making sure i was safe...

such GORGEOUS eyes, i mean WOW, this boy! if i could find a dobe just like him he would beat out my desire for a dane!

ive never met a dobe that pretty in person, theyve all seemed kinda skinny for my liking, but he had that solid sleek strong body that i LOVE in a "big" dog.
im guessing he was oversized for breed standard, but everything about him screemed to me what a dobe should be just form my own readings...
