The first I owned personally was a Black Lab Turner. He had to be put down b/c of mange, it had gotten so bad it was inside of him. His intestines where bleeding and he was suffering. He was only 5 months old!!!!! I loved him dearly....R.I.P. Turner

Colby Cheesehead, my Canaan Dog/Terrier mix whom we adopted from a local shtler when I was really little. Originally my mom did NOT want a terrier because they tend to be a little nippy, but with lots of training and a little bit of strict discipline, Colby turned into a well-trained, well-behaved angel.

Well, I've had a few dogs that I thought that I was going to own forever and I didn't. After I moved out I rescued a shepard mix name Steffe from a shelter and I had her living with me and my then boyfriend. Well I decided that I didn't like the guy that I was with (he had serious anger issues and he scared me) so I decided to move back home and took my dog Steffe with. I thought that my parents understood that I loved her and she helped me through A LOT but they didn't and one day while I was at work my father took her to a shelter. I never found out which one, and so I have no idea what happened to her. I would have to say though the first dog that I "officially" owned is Mack. I know we aren't going to bring him to a shelter and he's staying with us FOREVER.
