Can't register?
I have a friend who had been trying to join, but she has said once she chooses the option to agree to the terms and conditions that a database error page comes up and it will not let her register!

Okay, just heard from Karl.
He is downloading the database to try to upgrade the forum tonight anyhow and thinks that when the spam filter was edited it affected the registration. This upgrade should fix everything -- at least everything we know about. He's going to shut the site down for an hour or so during the process to eliminate problems of activity messing up the database during the process, so we will be down for what should hopefully be the last time for a long, long time.

Karl says the registration glitch should be fixed now.
He'll shut the site down for the other work around 1 or 2 a.m. eastern standard time, after things have slowed some.
