Can I Report This?

put in some complaints with the local USDA and Dog wardens, as many as possible...
they will go out and inspect...

otherwise theres realy not much else you can do...

i had pictures of pups at a store i worked for undercover for an article that made those puppies look fat and the usda officer passed the store anyway, now i do what i can keeping posts on craiglist and the newspaper and forums and such to tell people what these places are realy like!

the IDEA of a puppy store is actually a fairly good one...i mean how is it a bad idea to be able to compare dogs of different breeds side to side, but they took what could have actually been a great idea and turned it into this....
mills, mass producers and bybs, and staff without a clue, just sickens me

as a side note, these places tend to try and hire teens and others who think puppies are adorable but dont know much about dogs at all, that way they can tell their employees all sorts...

the place i used to work at had a huge oubreak of parvo, 6 pups in 3 days died, and he told all the employees that "parvo is "one of those things" that puppies get and most are ok" and "its realy not that big a deal" and "its not that contagious if you just wash your hands" and my favorite... "the vets and stuff try and make it seem scarier than it is!"

i encoraged all the employees to use BLEACH on pretyt much everythign and reported it to the usda...they came out, he hid the illegal meds (he was self medicating the dogs) and when he saw the usda officer he took the sick pups form back and loaded them into his car parked in back while the young girl "kept her busy" no sick dogs on premises, no sighns of meds and she passed him...

i couldnt take naymore even for an article and quit that night.

I doubt AC will do much........I would take Foxy's advice and contact the usda on top of the AC.

Thanks I felt so bad for the dogs, I'm glad I went in there otherwise probably nothing would of been done about these pups.

For a place that ask outrageous prices for puppies and doesn't even have that many dogs, I wonder why these dogs are so thin. I hope its nothing serious, like a disease. Glad I use hand anti-bacterial on my hands after I left. You would atleast want the dogs to look healthy to sell, even my mom who's not a dog person at all, thought the dogs were too thin.

So the AC doesn't pick up the phone, and I had no luck finding a contact number for my local usda and I don't believe we have dog wardens? I stay in Broward County, FL....in south florida.
