We have a 4 month old pup,since we have had him if I don't catch him in time he eats his own pooh. Pls could anyone tell me why they do this and how I can stop it?

Um I heard you can feed them something like pineapple that makes it taste really nasty..
Or maybe it was something else?? |

try plain yoghurt i desert spoon a day mixed with his food

I don't know about yogurt, but I've also heard that a little pineapple makes the poop taste crappy

Yogurt's really good for their digestive system, but I don't know if it makes their poop taste bad....
This question has been answered many times, you might also want to search the forum for more suggestions. |

I've read that the pup may have started to do this where it was first living because no one cleaned up the poop often enough and the dogs got used to eating it.

Sometimes if the food is lower quality they may eat their poo, or if there are undigested bits of food in it.
