i know this belongs in grooming but i need an answer ASAP.
i have to give Milo a bath and i can't find/possibly ran out of the shampoo i usually use. i have whitening shampoo from our eskie. Will it do anything bad to his coat if i use it on it? He is a rough coated JRT that is mostly white with some tan/lightbrown patches.

is it bright blue or purple? I use those types of whitening shampoos on the JRTs all the time.

yeah bright blue. i figured it would be fine. i knew a girl who used dark horse shampoo on her white horse and she just looked a bit purple for a few days

I've used whitening shampoo on Tristan in a pinch, with no ill effects. Just rinse well like you would with any other shampoo.

If you don't rinse it all off they end up purple tinged. As the owner of many white horses in the past (and one current and one paint) I love the thick purple shampoos
