Anyone want a slightly used Min Pin?

for those suggesting a slip collar as a back up. What is wrong with her idea of a harness, or a regular collar as a back up? I just have the linky thing that connects the nasty halti to her regular collar, so if she gets the halti off she is still attached to the leash with the collar. (and only one leash).

I like the link thing because it loops on the halti and clips on the collar. So with only one clip its light and non offensive, which with small dogs is an issue (dekka's halti is a size 0)

For me, it is because Django is a very squirmy little thing and if one thing fails, I want to know that the other one won't. ( Or at least be way less likely too.)

How scary !!! I didn't think they could get out of harnesses ! I always recommended over collars for my golden pups . Glad all ended well !!

I guess my concern with a slip collar is that she'd be able to slip out of it if she gave herself some slack and loosened the loop around her neck. She'd be a smart little sh*t like that! I know she can slip out of her collar, but with all her struggling, she's never been able to slip out of her harness. She tends to pull a lot when she just has her harness on though which is why she has a halti.

I have a lead that slips over the dogs neck made out of VERY stiff rope. There is no backing out if you've put it on properly. It loosens enough after they've stopped pulling that it will not actually choke the dog but not enough that it will go any where near slack enough for a dog to get out of. I should take a picture of it. It's genius.

Granted this is not a leash I bought for a dog. It's an old horse lead rope that the clip snapped off of. I made it into a leash for Spanky who was MR Squirmy pants.

i use harness for my dogs... if you are looking for harness or leash check out petstreetmal.com... they sells pretty harness that already with clothes... cant explain it at all... just check them out.
