well...the actual peice you see coming out is the penis. what you normall y see (with hair) is the sheath. there are muscles that regulate wether it is sheathed or out for the world to see. when he is relaxed or tired, those muscles relax and it is visible.

Hahahahaha! This thread has been making me chuckle, I have two male horses and lets just say that men seem to go pale when they see their extremeties! lol!

I'm rolling over with laughter !!!!! Yes, it's just a relaxed sheath ...nothing sexual . As far as horses.... we had guildings and they would protrude.....a good time to clean !!!

Except for Kal... who raised his back leg up and tried to side kick you if you tried. He HATED THAT! The only time we could clean his sheath is if he was under for some other medical condition.

My dog's pink thing from his.."thing" or what you peple call "lipstick" comes out very often, too.
im worried .
I thoughmaybe it means how he's feeling such as hot, or cold?

no, not dangerous at all unless their is a steel jaw trap nearby or a alligator. its perfectly normal and healthy for it to "pop out".

maaan...phoenix's thing is sticking out every time he poops...i always tease my husband and say: is yours sticking out when u poop???of course he thinks i got the worst kind of humor.LOL. phoenix is not neutered yet, but will be this mth. and Cujo, is neutered and ive never seen his. not that i want to.lol. i also thought it would only happen if the male dog is not neutered...hmmm
