Default Painted gourd with dog & cat

I went to a craft class yesterday where you got to paint a gourd birdhouse. I decided to make one with a dog and cat. Thought I'd share what I made. It's just for fun; I'm not very artistic. This was done using a stencil and then filling more in.

Aww, it's really cute, Barb!

Just think of how funny it would be to do artwork on all the veggies in the garden.. After all, who doesn't need practice, right?

I love it! The expressions on the dog and cat faces are adorable.

The woman who teaches crafts washed & coated the outside of the gourds. We painted with small bottles of patio/craft paints. She told us to coat it again to preserve the paint outdoors but I haven't done that yet.

We were told not to put a perch on it as snakes will go in! No, I don't want snakes.
