Default Who would have guessed?

who would have guessed that we would be this far into the primaries without a clear winner in either party. I know Mccain has kind of pulled ahead but he still has some nagging issues with conservatives.

Letís do the mathÖ.
McCain has 613 delegates + states I think he will win
Maryland 37
Ohio 85
613 + 37 + 85 = 735
Letís say McCain takes Texas and VirginiaÖ
735 + 137 + 63 = 935

McCain is still 256 delegates short, and this delegate count is assuming these states are winner take all, but some are not. Even if McCain picks up North Carolina, he will still be 187 votes shy.

There is no possible way in my mind for John McCain to pick up the 1,191 necessary delegates to secure the GOP nomination. Is my math right ?

I can't wait for Ron Paul's speech to the nation in St. Paul, MN. He will have a national platform to introduce himself to America. Ron Paul will use this national stage to launch the revolution into the stratosphere and take back the Republican Party.

Can you say "Revolution" ??????????

What really sucks is that for us late states, we no longer even get the chance to vote for who we want to vote for. This pisses me off as I'm not really into voting for the lesser evil.

In all reality, our votes don't mean a **** thing anymore.

This years vote will mean the life of America as the founders intended.
Romney now dropped out. Your choices are even more simple now.
We stand at an historic juncture in the journey of our nation. In this moment of reflection we must ask, as did Patrick Henry so long ago, "Is life so sweet, or peace so dear as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?"

Todays Ron Paul speech ..... http://catousa.messageforums.net/ron...708_t1953.html

In all honesty I do believe Ron Paul will pull a Abe Lincoln vs. William H. Seward in 1860.
"How he and his political team brought him from "dark horse" contender to the victor is the subject of the following article" ...

I despise Clinton. I hate Obama. And McCain isn't much better. So let's see, who would I love to vote for. Although McCain is the less of the 3 evils, I do NOT agree with him on many, many issues as he's just as liberal as the other 2 mentioned in this paragraph.

So I fail to see how your insistance that my vote will truly count when who I want to vote for is no longer in contention to run. Which IMO isn't fair since many states still haven't had their primaries. But let's face it, to some extent we no longer count.

Hell, as far as I know, Obama is the only one that will be campaigning here in Louisiana......and he's only catering to the N.O. 9th Ward crowd, so where does that leave the rest of us?

Listen .. you need to think for yourself. Forget about all the wonderful bandwagons.

If you believe in the US Constitution and want a President who will adore it, vote Ron Paul. He has nothing to lie about .. he's doing the exposing.

If you want a democracy (taking from people by force to give to another) vote for anyone else.

Ron Paul is the only true Republican ... that is a fact. Even McCain isn't a real Republican ... he is a democrat in disquise. The facts are all there, you just need to know american history as our founding fathers learned us. Good luck.
