I problably goin to get a toy poodle, I'm planning on getting a show dog.
So I have some questions: 1) how many exersice they need? 2) they can tolare heat and humity? 3) And how is the energy level? 4) how often I have to brush the hair and give him a bath? 5) how many food they need? (as a puppy and as a adult)

My friend has one...so here's what I know:
1. LOTS. This little guy (year and a half old) needs about a 1-2 hour run or good hard play time off leash at a park. And they need lots of mental stimulation other wise they will/can cause problems. 2. This little guys does and it gets in the 100's during the summer (April/May-October)! 3. See Number 1. 4. They'd need regular, probably once a day brushing and regular clipping/upkeeping of the coat. 5. Hmm, I think this little guy (on the bigger side of a Toy Poodle) eats about 1/3 cup of good quality kibble a day.

If you have all these questions, I personally would seek out and visit a reputable breeder. Spend an afternoon with lots of toy poodles and ask your questions to the experts.
I grew up with toy poodles and they are great dogs. Very smart and active but also loving and cuddly. Good luck! |

I'm in contact with a breeder in mexico, he whants to meet me in person when I go to mexico for my medical checkup. He's a judge an he won mexico 1# a dog of the year in 1994. He say he has a litter that are nephews of a dog that won prices in the 2007 world dog show, the dog is Angelfire Cherry on. I also had seen the lines of the sire of the litter in person, and they are wonderfull dogs.
