Default Talking banners...
Ok, all of a sudden I keep getting talking banners...alternating between some stupid "free ipod" and talking smilies.

It is INSANELY annoying and scares the living crap outta me when I am not expecting it...

This is prob happening 70% of the time..and yes, I know, I turn my sound off, but I mean when I am trying to listen to music while browsing chaz, its irritating as hell...

is there ANY way to stop this!?? Anyone else getting them a crapload??

There have been other threads.. if you do a search, Angel Chicken said something about a download for firefox users and settings for IE users. I tried the firefox thing and it didn't work, so I just keep my volume down.

I hate them too, when will companies realize that annoying people is not the way to get them to click on your banners.

Good lord. I actually like my sound, so I'm probably going to just avoid chaz till that ad goes away.

yah, i am more on your "page". Although I just downloaded "adblock plus" for firefox, and I havent seen a single banner yet!!! amazing!

I don't use firefox. I'll need something for safari, as I am on a mac.

I know whatcha mean! No matter how much I want to..I will never get a free iPod from those adds! ;P

But yup, they are annoying...especially when listening to other music.

these talking banner never used to be this bad... now they go off all the time and I too find them extremely annoying. I also like to listen to music when I browse around on here. I wonder why they're all of a sudden so much worse than before.
