Sick and Horrified...

As some of you know, my family and I have been looking to adopt a dog. Right now, we're on pause since my husband is traveling a lot for a couple of months, and we need things to settle a bit.

ANYWAY...I've been lurking on this site trying to build up some information, and reading some older threads after my kids go to bed. I stumbled on a thread discussing the Gentle Giants rescue (CA, I think)

I KNOW this has probably been discussed to death, but if there is ONE person that reads this thread and stays clear of them if they are in my position and looking to rescue a dog, then I feel okay about bringing it up again.
