Default Dog crate doubled as a piece of furniture

I think this is a cool idea!. What do you think?

I would be concerned about ventilation to the dog, and what kind of stains and treatments were done on the wood.
But they do look nice.

They look strangely like modified aquarium stands to me . . . I wonder if they actually are . . . if I could put a tank on one?

I know my dog would try to chew the heck out of that wood.

Check these out. They seem to have metal doors but still look like furniture. Of course, they're $500 for a 36 inch crate.

Definitely feel many dogs would chew threw the wood. If someone made maybe a wicker topper for the crate so it still gets ventilation, that might me better. My stepson actually put a nice blanket quilt over his when not in use.

Neat idea but what happens if you have a sick dog that messes his crate?? I'd imagine those are very hard to clean! Nah I'll stick to my tried and true plastic and wire crates, even if they dont match my home decor

My dogs would bust out of that crate I'm afraid. Would be nice for a small or mellow dog though.

That was my exact thought as well! I'd hate to have to clean that.
