No, the breeder didn't ask me lots of questions and she hadn't done health tests except for heartworms and other parasites. We never talked what will happen after I adopt the puppy, but probably I would have no place to turn if any problem arises. Otherwise she uses the best products, puppies are well socialised and taken care of, I know that. But that's not enough. I began doubting her when she gave me incorrect weight numbers. I feel that sometimes I know more about maltese then she does.
So my question is how I must say her now that I will not take the puppy anymore? I don't want to be rude... But what and how should I say that?
And by the way, I found another "responsible" breeder who does all healh tests and her dogs are champions. But she's asking 2000$ for a puppy and even with this price she has lots of reservations for futur litters! It's really excpensive for me...
If I cannot pay 2000$ does it mean that I'm a bad dog owner and shouldn't get one?...
