Faux news (false news?)
Thats not quite true. There are mice and rats that have human braincells in their heads, not the same thing. They are not any smarter than regular mice.

And gene splicing (which we have done in molecular bio) isn't the same as crossing. You don't get the traits of both. You get the expression of the gene you added. So out of 1000's of genes, one is diff.

Fox News, Dekka..... and I don't find it too terribly hard to believe they're saying the mice have human brains.

but since you know about this sort of thing.. what on earth is the point of having a few human braincells in a mouse's brain other than being able to say to other scientists "ZOMG! Lookie what I did!"? Is it even going to do something to the mouse? And where are they getting the brain cells from?

Yup, I know it's impossible to cross a dog and pony, it's not like a tiger and lion or whatever, they're just too different! But it could have been a slightly different type of poodle for all I knew, and whilst I'm usually not, I was a tad gullible then after reading all the posts. Oops!
But still, does anyone think it may be possible in the future? Or attempted even?

OMG! I am sooo gonna let Fancy's hair grow out and clip her like that!!! hahaha and I'll have to dye her "Mane" and tail... although, her tail is docked short so I probably wouldnt get the tail effect, but it would still be cute!

OOOO and I can leave some hair on her feet to make her more shetland(sp) like

Oh man Renee! You should totally do that!

This is freaking awesome. It's the only thing I have ever seen that has gotten me to seriously consider a poodle. I wonder if a bouvier could be clipped like that......
