It took me a couple of hours. I sat out on the porch with him in the sunshine (it was soooooo warm.. almost as good as sitting on top of the dryer.. which of course I never do! ) and tried to convince him that YES, his rope toy IS tastier than the tomato I stick the pins and needles in... lmao.
His new bandanna:
Him modeling it for me (sorry I couldn't get him to look at me!):
The longer I sewed the more even my stitches became and the easier it became to sew.. so I guess practice does make perfect. I've got just enough material for another, and I think I'll at least start on it tonight. The next one I want to sew or write "Merry Christmas" on... not sure how I'm going to do that so it'll look good. Any suggestions? My only halfway decent idea is to spell it out in cursive with a ribbon and sew the ribbon on.
