Suddenly I am not get email notices

This happen once before, When threads get new posts I am not getting email notices. Does anyone know why or how to fix it?

How do you get email notices of new posts? And why? Are you supposed to get email notices (or have the option of setting that up) if you've started a thread and want to see all replies?

I've been on this forum for some time now, but, just lilke all aspects of my computer use, I think I use it around the edges. I don't know enough about how everything works to get the full benefits.....same with my computer.

You can subscribe to a thread and get email notifications of new posts. It is under User CP.

Funny, because my email notifications stopped working after one of the first server problems a month or so ago and then, with this recent one, they are working again. Ah.. computers and servers and all that techy geeky nerdy crap.. gotta love it.... err, at least, someone does.

I just went on to User CP. It does have lots of stuff to look at. I think I had browsed that before, but I didn't know what subscribing to a thread meant. I will have to work on that if I'm ever interested, because when I clicked on it, it wasn't immediately clear how to do it for me!!!! But, I didn't try to figure it out either.
