Default Long lasting chew toys?

I used to give Boris rawhide, but he started swallowing big pieces of them so we stopped... We moved to booda bones. He looooooooves them, our problem now is that a bone lasts a day... We ordered 20 online at $4 each but still... it's getting really expensive!

Do you know of any chew toys that are long lasting and harmless for the dogs?

Is it bad for them to swallow them?

I gave Rocky one of those Dingo rawhides and he LOVED it. It was like trying to take away a game you're really addicted too. He must've sat and just chewed for 2 hours straight.

But he tore it to shreds in one day. But regardless, he loves 'em and it keeps him busy.

Rawhides really aren't all that great.

Kongs and nylabones are great. I know what you mean about booda bones--my dogs tore one apart in a few minutes. Very strong.

Ours love their Orbee-tuff bones! They are very nearly indestructible, and they have this strange, appealing squishy but firm texture that the dogs love to mouth. www.planetdog.com

I got two of the Orbee's and my dogs love them! They love to just squish them in their mouths and throw and catch them.
Kongs are also good.

I don't know why but Rocky's not a Kong kind of dog.

It's weird, after how much everyone talked about it, he's only interested if peanut butter is FILLED from top to bottom.

But he loves those Dingo bones and the problem is it only takes him a day to chew to peices.

Dante loves his too.
He's a really tough chewer, can go through a Nylabone in a very short time.
His Orbee-tuff bone doesn't have a mark on it!
'course it scared the 'you know what' outta me the first night...the one I got glows in the dark!
