Default Brown or Black?

I've been thinking about trying one of those color enhancing shampoos on Sarama. As you can see from my avatar, she's brindle . . .should I use the stuff for black dogs or for brown dogs? Also, does it work, and is it safe?

She's got more brown on her so i'd probably use the one for brown.

Well, if you want to make her black stand out - use a blackening one.. if not, use the colour you'd like to stand out most.

I use a Blackening shampoo on Riot so his overlay can stay as black as possible and really pop in the show ring

I tried the black and wow, does her black pop now. It got rid of most of the sunburn on the black parts of her coat and she looks great. The only downside is that the white parts of her coat now look a bit muddy. I'm not sure if I want to get whitening shampoo just for her chest! Thanks for the advice guys.

Products like 'black on black' suggest that if you have a 'two toned' dog.. you need to put whitening shampoo on the lighter colour and leave it there while you use the blackening product.
