Default just interested in what you guys would say...

I know what breeds I am looking for, can i explain the situation I am aiming on being in in a few years, will you anylyse that and come up with some suggestions to what breed would be best, just thought it might be interesting

i will live on a rural property with many different sorts of animals.
my dog will have secure fencing
will participate in competitions like obediance, agility and flyball
i will live and work from home, - will own a shelter, teach obediance classes.
my dog will have plenty of room to run in a secure houseyard
i will spend almost all/all of my day with my pets/dogs
i am able to socialize it from a young age
I like bigger dogs

any questions or suggestions?

The best advise I can give, go down to your local shelter and adopt a pup that may otherwise be put to sleep. With mixed breed dogs they can have less intense presdatory drives than purebred dogs which have been bred to have enhanced predatory drives.
My brother just adopted a Shepherd/Lab mix from the Shelter and it is sweet. I have also owned many mixed throughout my life, my favorites especially were my Shepherd/Husky/Lab mix and Border Collie mix.

Good luck
