Default Before and After pics from my New Shop!!

So here are some of the first few dogs I have groomed at my new shop. Only been open 4 days.
Cocker Before

Cocker After in a Short short 7 back, 4 legs and skirt

Bichon Cross Before (well actually after the bath)

Bichon Cross After 5 all over including face, (some of the legs had to have a 7 taken to them but it blended in well)

I recommended the owner switch food as the dog's eyes ran a ton and she was feeding the dog IAMS. tsk tsk.

Forgot to take a before pic but an after pic of a cocker/bichon I think. He got 4 body, and since the comb wasn't taken much off the legs I just hand scissored them.

Before on Husky/Border Collie

After (shave down) Owner tipped on this one.

After (this was a really good dog, bad hair tho) (4 kennel clip)

And last but not least, One Eyed Yorkie (owner says he looks like a rat when shaved but wanted him.... shaved) Before

After in 7 body, 4 on head and ears. Sorry bout the dirty table

And I just had to post a pic of his face cause it was SO cute, and I am usually not a huge yorkie person.

That's everyone, I have done a couple more but forgot to take pics. Enjoy.

No offence, but you would shave a Border Collie/Husky?

It is quite common to do around here, though I too believe that the those dogs should have their coats, I don't believe in mild weather it will do them much harm (it's better than being totally packed with built up undercoat)

I prefer to scissor legs for a lamb cut. It just looks WAY better. I dont like it when any of my previous clients could SEE the nails of their dogs. I feel that the nails should be hidden nicely in their fur, not the fur trimmed out around them - unless of course they are getting poodle feet.

I'm not a huge fan of shaving natural coats either and I refuse to shave them. I'll think them out with thinning shears, but will NEVER shave.

You've done a good job with only being open 4 days!

Lookin' good! I love before/after shots, it shows how ragged some dogs can get!

I have one concern however, and please don't take offence - I'm not trying to be mean, but... do these dog's owners know their dogs' photos are being posted on the internet? I know they probably wouldn't care, but it might be a good idea to get their permission first before putting photos up. If you have already gotten permission and the owners know their dogs are online, ignore me and my pokey nose!
