Anyone heard of the Wellness/Merrik recall at all?

I'm in an Email dog group and I got an Email today with a title that said "Merrik/Wellness recall - toxic substance found" in it..

and the Email didn't have anything regarding that in it.. so I assume it was just a passed on/forward Email..

BUT now its got me worried..

Riot is on the Merrik Califonia Natural food mixed with Orijin cause he can't keep weight on just the Orijin..

any help?!

I've been feeding my cats the wellness canned, I sure hope there is nothing wrong with it, Neko actually ate it (he hates wet food)

according to Merrick, there is NO recall, thats direct from customer service.

I though CalNat was a Natura brand, not Merrick. Or are their two foods called California Natural?
