There are many good foods out there including Innova and Calfornia Natural (www.naturapet.com). Merrick, Wellness, Pinnacle, and Solid Gold are also good brands.

There are lots of threads with information about feeding a pup, Lea. Mordy - and quite a few of us - recommend the Innova line of foods. You can feed a small puppy either the puppy formula or the EVO formula. Personally, I'd lean toward the EVO.

You'll want to read some of the threads though.

I feed mine Canidae. I've heard that Innova's a wonderful food, though I've never actually tried it.

How is Iams: Puppy Smart formula brand? We use to feed our pup Innova until we ran out.. and my mom bought this brand instead.

Iam's ranks pretty close to Purina; not that great.
