Default Anyone Else Have a Working Style Aussie?

The young lady in my avatar is Sequoyah. She's a granddaughter of Pincie Creek Osceola and has working lines on both sides of her pedigree. So different from the show style dogs we normally have up here (don't get me wrong - I got her on purpose because I like smart, intense, busy dogs that need jobs LOL)
Just curious who has what in the way of Aussies here.

I don't have any definitive proof as to which side of the divide my Sawyer is on, but I'm willing to guess more working side, as he still has brains and herding instinct in his behavior, and has almost no copper in his markings, which is nigh unheard of outside of show lines.

Same as Zoom, I don't know Grizzleys history, but since his coloring automatically disqualifies him from shows, I would think working lines, but I could be wrong.

my male is out of los rocosa dogs (working lines) and definately does not have the type of coat/body type my female has. He has a shorter stock coat and built like a brick you know what house )..he is much more serious than my female, gets that border collie intensity over a ball.

my female altho out of alot of HOF dogs, is a foo foo girl , who likes to "work"..she would work sheep all day long if she had the chance.

We do most stuff for 'fun', they are both very different, he being serious, her not having a serious bone in her body ..)

I'm familiar with Pincie creek nice dogs.

Thanks. I talked to quite a few stockdog breeders from the Aussies boards before I narrowed the search. I really wanted a dog from Osceola, but Roger wasn't breeding him that year, so he turned me on to a litter from one of Osceola's sons. The bitch was bred by Rick Hardin and Sequoyah looks just like her. She's pretty intense over that floppy f-r-i-s-b-e-e of hers (I have more than one of them, but she likes the green one, and will dump the others out of the toy bin and take the greenie if it's in there LOL).

Believe it or not, one of my criteria was that the dogs come from lines with longevity! Many of her relatives still work cattle at ripe old ages. I'm happy with the choice and love her to pieces.

Wow, I didn't know there were so many on here with a Aussie...

Thats all I have to say, cause I'd hate to start a fight(Because I know some dont agree with my Breed choice). *Blushes*

My Django is a pound puppy, but I'll eat my hat( or at least let him eat it) if he isn't from working lines. Not much coat and he's a fairly small dog. Right now at 7 1/2 months is 19 inches at the withers and 20 pounds.
